My personal style for the last three years has changed to a more casual with neutral colors as the basis for my color scheme. As I get older I feel very comfortable wearing simple pieces and keeping my personal style classic while still mixing it up a bit with the latest trends.
The clothes I choose allow me to feel very comfortable while doing the job that I do. As a personal Stylist/shopper I am always on the go and if I am not running to the mall meeting or returning clothes for a client I will be at a clients house working on a closet rejuvenation, doing a photo shoot, or having a creative meeting about the next project for my brand.
The cool thing about winter, and I definitely don’t mean the weather 😉 Is how creative you can be with your outfits. You can mix neutral colors, layer your pieces, and look great for any casual activity you are planning on a week or weekend day. I feel that a great coat will always give that perfect touch to any look… no matter if your wearing boots or casual shoes. I feel a dress overcoat will make you look very chic.
For this blog post I would like to share with you how I wore a Camel Peacoat not only for those working days in New York City, but also as part of my outfit on the weekends as well. A camel coat will be a great essential this season because you can wear it in a very casual way or with a suit.
Dark blue jeans and a long sleeved striped shirt are great basics to layer with a cardigan. Brown boots are another element that can’t be missing in your closet. The camel coat will give sophistication to this simple ensemble.
Mixing camel with different shades of gray is also very stylish. The mix of these colors will make you look classic and trendy at the same time. There is really nothing better than grey and camel sophisticated and classic.
HAPPY WINTER EVERYONE!
